SHIPPING Collision Notes
Some notes on the shipping collision:

I'm making my own jam. If you think I will add 7 freaking cups of sugar to it, you got your thing coming. I usually add TWO. I include a mixture of berries. Unfortunately Instacart alters what I order and didn't get all my berries, etc. I had to improvise. Wasn't the delivery person's fault. I haven't had an issue being overcharged yet need to check my bank activity for today's delivery.
Apples have a natural pectin. So do lemons, which also brings out the flavor of sweetness. I also add a couple T of Apple Cider Vinegar. 🤭
I add apples and squeeze the daylights out of a lemon and even cut some of it up and add it to the pot. When it boils, I add 1 box of SureJell, to give it time to make its own flavor - am I right about that? Who knows. I let it boil down for 1/2 hrs to an hour. Then jar it. I will take a few pictures.
It's a bit steamy from juices. I plan to let it cook on medium with the lid off for an hour before putting it in a Ball jar. A farmer lady told me when I was young, once that juice looks glossy, you have enough sugar. Don't overdo.
I had some Honey in a jar that was upside down in a plastic container - because it was almost empty. So I added that to it as well.
Sometimes I plan to make the detox tea, add apples and what-not, and make jam out of it, to add to yogurt.
The sky's the limit.
My jam doesn't get moldy at all but this spying landlord I have, who illegally enters my apartment all the time, is likely to see this and poison my food now. I'll show you what they did to a lid on my ACV, all jars have to be thrown out - I will probably soak my mop in it to get some kind of benefit from it. I did that with two jars already. I also stored organic ACV in my cupboard and they replaced it with clear, pissy-looking vinegar with no mother. So I will also use that for cleaning as well.
The jars are washed in my dishwasher, with all settings on - hot wash, hot rinse, and dry mode. So yes, I do reuse my store bought jam jars and as long as the lids and jars are in good shape, I have no problem. It's not like it sits in a pantry a few years. My jam is never older than 6 months to a year.
I add it to yogurt as well as on toast and plain bagels and English muffins.
Use it when you make a banana smoothie too! Freeze bananas that are starting to turn color. It's the ideal time to benefit from natural sugar and also the freezing causes more nutrients to be digestible. Dr. Mandel explained this on his channel.
